Space new PCSD superintendent

Allison Space is the new PCSD superintendent. She starts July 1.

The Pulaski Community School District (PCSD) Board of Education has selected Mrs. Allison Space as the next district superintendent and will begin contract negotiations.

Mrs. Space is currently superintendent of The Goodman Armstrong Creek School District. Prior to that, she had served in the Wabeno Area School District, including seven years as elementary principal and 12 years as a third-grade teacher.  Mrs. Space earned her superintendent’s license from Marian University and her principal’s license from UW-Milwaukee. She also earned a master’s degree in science from St. Norbert College and a bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Silver Lake College.

“Allison is an experienced, dynamic leader with a true passion for education,” said PCSD Board President Michael Voelker. “She understands the values of our community and is committed to serving our children, families, and everyone who has a stake in the performance of our outstanding community schools.”

Finalist candidates were interviewed by the board as well as two advisory panels comprised of district residents, staff, faculty, and administrators. The Board considered all input in making its selection of Mrs. Space.

Mrs. Space currently resides in Crandon and will be relocating to the Pulaski area.
