Pulaski’s Team Teddy of Wisconsin is hosting its annual kickball tournament Sept. 29 at Wouters Front in Suamico.

The kickball tournament is the organization’s biggest fundraiser; last year it raised more than $10,000 to put toward supplying kids in Wisconsin hospitals with teddy bears.

Team Teddy is hoping for an even bigger turnout this year. They encourage community members to come out, support a good cause, and have some fun. The kickball tournament is an all-day event, with the kickball games starting at 10 a.m. and has lots to offer including: kickball, raffles, food, games, etc. “The Kickball tournament day is one of my favorite days of the year!” Kelly Logue, Team Teddy president, said. “Whether you are playing, cheering or supporting our cause with raffle tickets or bidding on silent auction items, fun and laughter will be had by all!”

The organization is also looking to invite individuals and businesses to support the cause through the donation of silent auction and raffle baskets. Businesses are also able to purchase sponsorships banners which are displayed along the fences of the kickball field. Any inquiries can reach out to info@teamteddywi.com.

Team Teddy member, Kaitlyn Martin, said, “At the end of the day the event is all about giving back, and helping to put a smile on the faces of children in hospitals makes it all worthwhile.”
