Team Teddy of Wisconsin traveled to the Ronald McDonald House in Milwaukee on June 27.

They brought approximately 45 stuffed animals and corresponding outfits to patients and their siblings, who also end up spending lots of time in hospitals.

Leaving with just a handful of bears left over, the day proved successful and inspiring. “It was particularly inspiring to see the positivity that families are able to maintain despite the overwhelmingly unfortunate circumstances. We had several kids waiting weeks for Team Teddy to visit, and were even greeted by their heads peering down the balcony as we arrived,” said Jack Walker, Team Teddy student-president.

“These visits never cease to amaze, humble, and inspire all of us at Team Teddy of Wisconsin,” he added.

Team Teddy will take another trip to the Ronald McDonald House on Aug. 8 for a workshop with the families there.
