Douglas A. Holewinski, 41 of Hofa Park, passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2012, at a Green Bay hospital following a brief illness. Douglas, the son of Kenneth J. and Diane (Rudzinski) Holewinski, was born May 11, 1971, and was a 1989 graduate of Pulaski High School. Dougie’s greatest passions were fishing, hunting, and playing cards. He had a great love for hunting dogs, and especially enjoyed the company of his springer spaniel, Ozzie.
Survivors include his parents; two brothers and two sisters: Paul (Tracy) Holewinski of Pulaski, Cathy (Eric) Gille of Sobieski, Carrie (Kelly) Brunette of Flintville, and Jason (Debbie) Holewinski of Pulaski; nieces and nephews: Haley, Hunter, and Landon; Jacob, Cole, and Brady; Claire and Johanna; Brody and Riley; his maternal grandparents: Stanley and Irene Rudzinski of Hofa Park; his godparents, Gary Holewinski and Dee Wanner; aunts and uncles, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Lucille Holewinski; and an uncle, David Rudzinski.
Friends may call at St. Stanislaus Church, W1888 Hofa Park Drive, Hofa Park from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 12, 2012.Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the church with Father Patrick Gawrylewski O.F.M. presiding, and Dcn. Ken Banker assisting. Marnocha Funeral Home in Pulaski is serving the family.
